Bible Study – Life Upon Earth A Prerequisite To Heaven – February 22, 2026

Human life upon earth gives all people the opportunity of eternal life in Heaven through faith in JESUS and the miracle of being “born again” in his/her human spirit that person is secure in CHRIST and bound for Heaven.

Once a person is “born again” he/she is a new creation, whose citizenship is in Heaven. While the Spirit born person is alive upon earth, GOD has work for him/her. The key is for the “Spirit born” person to be lead accomplish what GOD, through The Holy Spirit leads each person to do as HE directs.

This is informational but know that those who have been “born again”/ “Holy Spirit Born” are secure.

If you are not sure, then ask JESUS to forgive you for all of your sins and ask JESUS to come into your heart believing that JESUS is GOD’S perfect acceptable sacrifice for all our sins as revealed in The Sinless Life of JESUS upon earth, HIS death upon the cross by the shedding of HIS sinless blood to pay fully for the sin debt all people owe. The proof that JESUS paid the sin debt in full is evidenced by GOD raising JESUS from the physically dead to eternal life.

JESUS is GOD’S example to all people of assurance of eternal life through faith in the birth, the sinless life of JESUS, the miracles JESUS performed upon earth, conquering physical death and in doing so, JESUS conquered sin.

All people must acknowledge that JESUS conquered sin and all who place their faith in JESUS and HIS Passion are eternally born into GOD’S eternal family. Never to be unborn but may lose Spiritual rewards for disobedience and stubbornness.

I pray for all who read this stay focused upon what JESUS came to earth and accomplished just for each individual. Salvation is personnel!!!

Satan, I command you in the name of JESUS and by the power of the shed blood of JESUS not to get a stronghold but to be bound as those who read this are informed about the things that can prevent a person from going to Heaven through faith in JESUS. Let’s explore in the name of JESUS and covered by HIS shed blood.

Today we will talk about Bible Verses About Those Who Will Not Enter Heaven. This topic is often misunderstood, but it is essential for our spiritual journey. The Bible provides guidance on the characteristics and consequences of those who choose a path away from what God desires for us. As we meditate on these verses, let’s open our hearts and minds to learn, reflect, and grow. It is necessary to understand these truths, not as a basis for judgment, but as a way to steer our own lives. Our intention is to encourage one another as we strive to live in alignment with God’s purpose, embracing His love while understanding the consequences of straying from His will.

Bible Verses About Those Who Will Not Enter Heaven

Unrepentant Hearts

We must recognize that having an unrepentant heart is a significant barrier to entering heaven. When we stubbornly hold onto our sins and refuse to acknowledge them, we are distancing ourselves from God’s grace. The Bible emphasizes the importance of repentance as a crucial aspect of our relationship with Him. God calls all of us to honestly assess our actions and attitudes, sincerely seeking forgiveness and making a commitment to change our ways. Throughout scripture, we observe that a genuine transformation of the heart leads to a renewed spirit ready to receive God’s promises.

Matthew 3:2

“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” – Matthew 3:2

Luke 13:3

“I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.” – Luke 13:3

Revelation 2:5

“Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.” – Revelation 2:5

2 Peter 3:9

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” – 2 Peter 3:9

Acts 17:30

“In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.” – Acts 17:30

Continuous Sinning

Continuing to sin without remorse is another aspect we must consider in our discussion about those who will not enter heaven. The Bible teaches us that while we are all imperfect, there comes a point where our choices reflect a heart that does not desire to live in accordance with God’s will. We each have a responsibility to evaluate our actions and motivations, choosing a path that aligns with God’s desires. When we choose to sin deliberately without seeking to change, we create a divide between ourselves and the divine presence of God, which is essential for eternal life in heaven.

Hebrews 10:26

“If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left.” – Hebrews 10:26

Romans 6:1-2

“What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?” – Romans 6:1-2

1 John 3:6

“No one who lives in him keeps sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.” – 1 John 3:6

Galatians 5:19-21

“The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.” – Galatians 5:19-21

Ephesians 5:5

“For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.” – Ephesians 5:5

Unbelief in God

Unbelief in God is yet another critical theme in our exploration of those who will not enter heaven. Faith is the cornerstone of our relationship with the Father, and the Bible tells us that without faith, it is impossible to please Him. We have to cultivate a sincere belief in God’s character and His promises to us. Doubting or rejecting God’s existence versus embracing a vibrant faith makes all the difference in our eternal destiny. It is important for us to nurture our faith, reflecting it in our thoughts, words, and actions.

Hebrews 11:6

“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” – Hebrews 11:6

John 3:18

“Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.” – John 3:18

John 8:24

“I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am he, you will indeed die in your sins.” – John 8:24

Mark 16:16

“Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” – Mark 16:16

Romans 10:9

“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” – Romans 10:9

Rejection of Christ

The rejection of Christ stands as a significant barrier for many. Not acknowledging Jesus as our Lord and Savior results in a tragic separation from the very source of life and grace. The love and sacrifice of Christ should compel us to embrace Him and accept the eternal life He offers. The Bible calls us to love and acknowledge Jesus fully, and it challenges us to determine where we place our faith and trust. Rejecting Jesus is not just an intellectual denial; it involves refusing to accept the relationship we can have with God through Him.

John 14:6

“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'” – John 14:6

1 John 2:22

“Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son.” – 1 John 2:22

Matthew 10:33

“But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.” – Matthew 10:33

Luke 9:26

“Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.” – Luke 9:26

Matthew 12:30

“Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.” – Matthew 12:30

Living for the Flesh

When we make choices driven by our flesh instead of our spirit, we risk placing ourselves outside of God’s will for our lives. The Bible warns us of the consequences of fulfilling our earthly desires, which ultimately leads to spiritual death. We must prioritize our spiritual growth over temporary pleasures, recognizing that the satisfaction found in God’s presence lasts much longer than any fleeting delight. Living for the flesh diverts our focus away from God and creates barriers between us and His grace.

Romans 8:5

“Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.” – Romans 8:5

Galatians 6:8

“Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” – Galatians 6:8

Colossians 3:5

“Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.” – Colossians 3:5

1 Peter 4:3

“For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do—living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry.” – 1 Peter 4:3

James 4:4

“You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.” – James 4:4

False Teaching

Engaging in false teachings and misleading doctrines can prevent people from entering heaven. The Bible is a source of truth, and falsehood undermines the essential tenets of our faith. Together, we should encourage each other to stay grounded in God’s word and to discern right from wrong. When we stray from biblical teachings, we risk falling into the traps set by false prophets, which can ultimately lead us away from salvation. It’s our responsibility to seek knowledge of the truth and to support one another as we grow in faith and understanding.

Matthew 7:15

“Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.” – Matthew 7:15

Galatians 1:8

“But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse!” – Galatians 1:8

2 Peter 2:1

“But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves.” – 2 Peter 2:1

1 John 4:1

“Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” – 1 John 4:1

2 Timothy 4:3

“For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.” – 2 Timothy 4:3

Quiet Compromise

Quiet compromise refers to the subtle ways we may allow the standards of the world to seep into our Christian lives. It is essential for us to be vigilant and not let our guard down against the steady erosion of our values. Compromise can take many forms, much like slowly adding salt to a sweet cake; we may not notice the change until it comes to light. Let’s be introspective in our faith and encourage each other to stay true to God’s principles, resisting the temptation to blend in with societal norms that contradict our faith. The message of the Bible is clear: we must stand firm in our commitments.

Romans 12:2

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” – Romans 12:2

Revelation 3:15-16

“I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.” – Revelation 3:15-16

James 1:22

“Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” – James 1:22

1 Thessalonians 5:22

“Reject every kind of evil.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:22

Proverbs 4:23

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” – Proverbs 4:23

Pride and Arrogance

Pride and arrogance can prevent us from entering heaven because they foster an attitude of self-sufficiency and rebellion against God. When we think we can do without God or that we are above His laws, we set ourselves on a dangerous path. The Bible consistently warns us about the dangers of pride, encouraging humility and reliance on God’s grace. We are far better off when we acknowledge our need for God and embrace His greatness with gratitude. After all, it is in our humility that we find true strength and clarity in our relationship with Him.

Proverbs 16:18

“Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.” – Proverbs 16:18

James 4:6

“But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: ‘God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.'” – James 4:6

1 Peter 5:5

“In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, ‘God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.'” – 1 Peter 5:5

Luke 18:14

“For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” – Luke 18:14

Matthew 23:12

“For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” – Matthew 23:12

Misplacing Affections

When we misplace our affections, prioritizing things of the world over our relationship with God, we can jeopardize our eternal standing. The Bible teaches us that our hearts are meant to be aligned with God above all else. When we cling to earthly treasures, we distract ourselves from the higher calling God has for us. Therefore, let’s reflect on where we place our affections and be intentional in making the Lord our priority. Our love for God must surpass everything else in our lives for us to be assured of our place in heaven.

Matthew 6:21

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” – Matthew 6:21

1 John 2:15

“Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.” – 1 John 2:15

Colossians 3:2

“Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.” – Colossians 3:2

Philippians 3:19

“Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things.” – Philippians 3:19

James 1:27

“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” – James 1:27

Final Thoughts

As we walk through this collection of Bible verses about those who will not enter heaven, it becomes clear that our choices ultimately shape our spiritual destiny. Whether it’s our hearts, actions, beliefs, or the things we choose to prioritize, we hold significant power over our relationship with God. Let’s remember that every day presents a new opportunity to align ourselves more closely with Him.

The call to repentance and faith in Jesus is consistently echoed throughout scripture as the way to salvation. By reflecting on the warnings and truths of the Bible, we can encourage each other to deepen our understanding and commitment to God’s Word. Thank you

Blessings!!!
